MKG, ROHTAK
Each day spent at MKG was full of energy and new curves of learning emerged in my life. The attention paid by the teachers was instrumental in our today's avatar. The life on school campus was laced with studies and extra-curricular activities and it was my endeavor to take part in everything that was happening at school. I remember taking part in a debate where I forgot a few lines but the mere sight of my teacher sitting opposite to me with a thumbs -up signature made me complete the debate with aplomb.

MAHENDRA KINDER GARTEN, ROHTAK
Well, the best beginning for a child is a decent school and I was really fortunate to join MKG as my second school. This school had all the ingredients which a child needed. The attention given by teachers was just superb and the solid foundation provided by them is still holding my hands. It was here that I met some of my closest friends who are more than my relatives to me till date. I can today boast of friends from last 34 years out of the 38 that i have traversed on this planet. The journey in MKG was full of fun, frolic and achievements. I got to climb the centre stage in the school on each occassion and that added miles to my persona.Thank you MKG , You were just too good.

The Journey to School
Once, the trains and the buses rumbled out of the city, it was time for the bicycles and the rickshaws to move on the streets and the flurry for school, university and the much-coveted medical college began. Rohtak, the dusty little town had a good set of academic institutions and of course the rustic Jats.
Every morning, I would wait for Gopi, the rickshaw man, who would take me to school. The rickshaw had a seat and a bench kept in-between the seat and the puller. There was always a frantic urge to sit on the corner of the bench. Well, in today's times it will not be possible because firstly, the traffic density is so high on the streets of Rohtak and secondly, the children prefer other modes of transport. But , the fun of this ride was immense. The wait to pick up the other children was always maddening and the ringing bell of the rickshaw was constantly buzzing to pick up children.
The eventful morning always began with the school assembly and the music guru-Master Behari Lal 's prayer recitation.
